Lease roundup: Thoma Bravo signs major lease in Brickell & more
Retro Fitness, Adtech D&D Corp. and Link Logistics also inked deals
Thoma Bravo | Miami
Thoma Bravo expanded to Miami. The firm signed a long-term lease at 830 Brickell, a 55-story office building under construction in the Brickell Financial District.
Thoma Bravo will occupy roughly 36,500 square feet on the two top floors. Thoma Bravo expects to open its office at 830 Brickell in the fourth quarter of 2022. Cushman & Wakefield represented the developers, Vlad Doronin’s OKO Group and Cain International. CBRE represented Thoma Bravo in the lease.
JLL | Fort Lauderdale
JLL will be relocating its Fort Lauderdale office to the Bank of America Plaza at Las Olas City Centre. JLL signed a 7,100-square-feet lease for the 18th floor of the 23-story office building at 401 East Las Olas Boulevard.
JLL’s Ryan Nunes represented his firm and Tim Talbot of ComReal represented Bank of America Plaza. The brokerage relocated from 200 East Broward Boulevard.
Retro Fitness | West Palm Beach
Retro Fitness relocated its headquarters to 1601 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach, from Colts Neck, New Jersey. Eric Spritz of Katz & Associates represented Retro Fitness in the 13,000-square-foot deal, and Marci Osheroff of The Osheroff Group represented the landlord.
Adtech D&D Corp. | Miami Gardens
Adtech D&D Corp. leased the remaining 4,970 square feet in Miami Gardens Industrial Center at 150 Northwest 176 Street in Miami Gardens. Jesus Cortes represented the landlord, Seagis Property Group LP, and Commercial 1 Realty represented Adtech D&D.
Link Logistics | Miramar
Link Logistics signed a long-term lease at 2601 Southwest 145th Avenue, a 83,200-square-foot building in Miramar. CBRE’s Tom O’Loughlin and Larry Genet represented Link Logistics. Jim Sadler and Kari Hartman of Keyser represented the landlord, Universal Technical Institute.
Miami Manager
Miami Manager has signed seven leases at the firm’s community shopping centers in Doral, Coconut Creek, Plantation, Sunrise and West Palm Beach the first quarter of 2021. The new leases total a space absorption of 17,507 square feet.
Tennis Plaza leased 1,533 square feet, Saphira Privé leased 1,003 square feet and Embarcadero 41 leased 2,216 square feet at the Gateway at Sawgrass, at 129 Northwest 136th Avenue.
Big Dreams Uniforms signed a 1,295-square-foot lease and Smoke Pharm leased 1,852 square feet at Plantation Marketplace, at 7023 West Broward Boulevard. Miracle Leaf took a 1,365-square-foot space at Village Shoppes of Coconut Creek, at 690 North State Road 7.
UFC Gym | Doral
UFC Gym signed a 36,500-square-foot anchor lease at Miami’s Doral Square, a new 150,000-square-foot mixed-use retail center being developed by Terra at the southeast corner of Doral Boulevard and 87th Avenue in Doral.
The UFC Gym will mark the chain’s fifth South Florida outpost, with gyms now open in Kendall, Midtown and North Miami. UFC Gym will join co-anchor tenants Marshalls and Ross Dress for Less, as well as Panda Express and World of Beer.
MedMen | South Beach
MedMen Enterprises Inc. opened its first Miami-area location in South Beach at 55 Collins Avenue. The MedMen South Beach spans 4,263 square feet.
